FAQ

Questions, answered before you ask.

The questions people ask before they email us. Answered here instead.

+How long does a site take?

It depends on how many pages there are and how fast you get us content — words, photos, logo. That is part of what we work out before you say yes: what it costs, in writing, before anything starts.

+What do you need from me to start?

Tell us what the business does, whether a site already exists, and what you want the new one to do. Once you say yes, send whatever content you have; anything you do not have, we can write around.

+What does it cost?

We do not publish prices, because the honest answer depends on how many pages you need, who is writing the words, and what it has to connect to. We quote a fixed price in writing before anything starts, so you know the number before you commit.

+Who owns the site when it is finished?

You do. You get the code, the accounts, the domain and the hosting, plus documentation for all of it. If you stop working with us, nothing breaks and nobody is holding your site hostage.

+What if I do not like it?

There is a review step before launch. You tell us what is wrong, we fix it — that is what the review is for, not a complaint procedure.

+Do you handle hosting and domains?

Yes. Billed at cost, and the domain and hosting accounts are in your name, not ours.

+What happens after launch?

Maintenance: updates, fixes, small changes. It is the part most studios disappear after, and we do not.

+Are you not very small?

Two people, both senior, both on the project — no juniors, no handoffs. It also means we take on few projects at a time, so there is a real chance we say we are booked. That is the trade.
